\r\n\r\nFigured I should probably do a quick round up from the last round of D1NZ. I went down to shoot the event for NZ Performance Car Magazine so I’ve let them have the coverage first, but next round I’m on my own so look out for some weird stuff, a bit different from my usual..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSo me and the homie Blake from Maximum Style hopped aboard this plane and chilled to some Lorde for a bit over an hour down to Christchurch.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe got there, stayed the night and got up early the next morning to get ready for D1NZ. Joe was happy as, ready to go.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCam was a bit more serious however, having being his first time down south drifting.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMike seemed eager to get out onto the track in his 26B RX7..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nGaz had a nice new LS7 in the car..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnd Johnny Latham had his stickers out in support! Cheers dude!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCome lunch time the boys had plenty of fans out in support with many grabbing some sunnies or a wrist band.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis awesome 240K/Kenmeri was sitting in the car park underneath a tree.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJoe made a good impression in the Skinny R32 overall.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nVika modeled in front of the team Achilles Radial cars\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnd one of the drivers, Bruce Tannock as well.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nNew member to the Achilles Joel Counter let us put some FW stickers on the car! Cheers for the support dude!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTodd’s Keto gang was out with plenty of classic Toyota’s sitting around.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nZak Pole dropped out plenty of smoke on the main big sweeper.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBruce Tannock also pushed out the smoke from his RB26 S13.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMike on the other hand was popping out flames from the rear of the car just before entry to the long mid corner.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCam put up a great fight against Mike but in the end was taken down by the Red Bull driver.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe also got to see Joe Kukutai’s first podium spot!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnd his first punch to the face with champagne.\r\n\r\nFrom the pro series we saw Mad Mike in 1st, Cody Collis in 2nd, and Drew Donovan in 3rd.\r\n\r\nRound 6 Final post up soon.\r\n\r\n-Chris\r\n\r\n
