FRESHLY WHIPPED AT V 4&ROTARY FESTIVAL DRIFTS – JANUARY 29TH @ ASB SHOWGROUNDS

Seems that I have forgotten to do a post on the drift display at the 4&Rotary festival. Seen as I have too many pictures of the display, I may as well. In this display we see some of the top drifters in D1NZ showing off their skills in a course made up at the main outdoor show area.

R34

\r\n

To start off we see Cole Armstrong doing a quick burnout to get the crowd going in his R34 Skyline.

\r\n

Laurel

\r\n

Jason Sellers 2JZ Laurel was out in force making some great slides and a few mint standstills

\r\n

Then came a few double drift battles, where we see Daynom Templeman and Cole Armstrong ‘battling’ one another.

Both boys drifted really well, finishing it off with some drifting around each other.

Sky Zhao's S15

\r\n

Sky Zhao was out doing his thing in his S15 Silvia, having it sideways a heck of a lot. Never fails to put on a good show.

\r\n

Cefiro

\r\n

Although he had a few hiccups such as his rear bumper.. Adam Richards put on an epic show and kept drifting even after they got the marshals called in. Good stuff.

\r\n

Commodore Fanga Dan was out with his new LS2 Engine Holden. He had that V8 very sideways at points with it’s loud rumble roaring throughout the how showgrounds.

\r\n

S14 Andrew Redward’s S14 was out in force with it’s sweet Purple tires colouring the grounds.

\r\n

S14 Carl Ruiterman had his S14 perfectly sideways at points, showing why he is one of NZ’s top drifters.

Gaz Whiter managed to get his car sparkling as he drifted across the track. Some of the cleanest drifting on the day was done by him.

\r\n

RX7 Got to love seeing the tires spinning on Daynom Templeman’s RX7. He too performed very clean throughout the day.

\r\n

Drift Stretch After 2 sessions of drifting, some cars were pushed and others were drifted out on display for everyone to see.

The next round of Drifting is at Taupo on the 25 & 26th February.
