Seen as we love drifting, we figured we’d start our two part Speedshow post with some drifting!

The D1NZ drift demo was held on the concrete pad with huge crowds watching. 

\r\n

Seeing a big pad and a huge grandstand, this photo reminds me a lot of Formula D in USA…

\r\n

\r\n

There’s a reason why Carl’s a top D1 driver. I think this shot shows what I mean..

\r\n

\r\n

As usual, our boy Nico was out going nuts in Tanefa. He’s a consistent performer and never fails to put out an awesome run.

\r\n

\r\n

Matt must have one of the best looking cars in D1NZ. 

\r\n

\r\n

Onto day 2 we see pies and V8 utes drifting. What’s not to love…?

\r\n

\r\n

There was a few knocks, but nothing a bandage can’t solve.

\r\n

\r\n

Can someone please buy a V8 ute and run it in D1NZ? I would love to see that..

\r\n

\r\n

As usual on day 2 Nico was still killing tyres in style. 

\r\n

\r\n

‘Toffee’ was out giving some awesome runs. As Olly pointed out on our Facebook page, the rear wheel has tucked in quite comfortably!

\r\n

\r\n

Speaking of Sellers’, Jason had his Laurel out with great runs too. The Sellers’ can surely drift.

\r\n

\r\n

Aiming for the clipping point, Nico decided to grind the wall! Tanefa ended up with a few bruises. Nothing it can’t handle though!

\r\n

\r\n

Sky was out giving it his all, even in the rain with his bumper hanging low! 

\r\n

\r\n

Steven Sole was ‘chasing’ the competitors in his JZX. Bloody cool car.

\r\n

\r\n

Last but not least is Nico and Jason going in tandem. 

\r\n

Overall the drifting was a great success, with the crowd loving the performances. 

\r\n
