FRESHLY WHIPPED – Cruising on a Sunday
After hitting up a couple of mates to see what’s on in the weekend we decided to all cruise out to the Kumeu Hot Rod festival, to relive the first post I ever covered on FW.. But you can all wait for that post.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAs we’re a group of car enthusiasts some of us prefer utes, some prefer cruisers and some prefer performance. We’ve all got different tastes. Ritchie is a ute enthusiast. As you can see he has a white Mazda Bounty B2500 double cab, sporting a nice set of after market rims.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMark is also a ute enthusiast, but as the ute was a tad worse off for the weekend he brought out his Atenza wagon, which is lowered on Work Meister replicas.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJarrod is rocking the JZX100 Chaser. With the sedan being a fairly rare car in this part of the world, he’s got it lowered on BC Gold suspension and Lenso 18″ wheels.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOn the way back from Kumeu we saw some ‘Minitruckin’ friends of Ritchie’s cruising along the motorway. The amount of work that goes into these trucks is incredible and something that needs to be seen in real life to be noticed.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n2JZ, no shit! Alex recently bought this Supra, sitting on Work XT-7 replicas, knowing Alex the car will be looking ever more staunch in no time. We like the Supra’s round here.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIt’s all fun and games, even if there is a bit of traffic..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWe decided to hit up various spots around Central Auckland, such as good ol’ Bastion Point. Quite a nice place really..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnd has some pretty awesome views.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOh and some awesome cars in the car park! Hell yeah!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCruising on a Kiwi summers day is an awesome thing to do. So get out there and cruise with your mates!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n-Chris
