FRESHLY WHIPPED AT JUICED TRACK DAY
Taupo Motorsport Park played host to the latest Juiced Drift Day on the 21st of August. The event was perfect for beginners to try their hand at drifting without the pressure of judges watching their every move.

\r\n
Out and giving the rear tyres hell all day was this R33 Skyline. With its unique livery showing the insides of the car, it had the most interesting paint job of the day.
\r\n
\r\n
The EliteTint R32 had to be one of my favourite cars of the day. With such nice stance and a clean exterior this thing looked amazing going sideways.
\r\n
\r\n
A slighty odd, but great looking colour combination on this S14 meant it demanded attention. It sure got in when the driver threw it into the corners and created masses of tyre smoke.
\r\n
\r\n
Taking life at a completely different pace was this KP Starlet. Looks familiar huh? This car when owned by its previous owner was our very first feature car!
\r\n
\r\n
Having a sticker bombed front lip can turn a good looking car into a great looking car.
\r\n
\r\n
Back onto the track, our good mate Cam Vernon was set a challenge by Gull over the weekend. To tear 48 tyres to shreds.
\r\n
\r\n
Which meant he needed a loyal pit crew behind him to help with all the tyre changes. Cam did manage to eat his way through all 48 tyres in 48 hours. Congrats to him and also his extra hard working pit crew!
\r\n
\r\n
Another friend of The Whip, Eddie Hayman was showing that he is really making big strides in the direction of becoming a great drifter.
\r\n
\r\n
Nico was once again doing what he does best, putting his S13 through it paces. Unfortunately he did have some axel issues that were quickly resolved so he could get back out and put on a show for all.
\r\n
\r\n
The R32 Sedan has lines to kill for, a true classic in the import scene. Fluro pink skids rims set this one apart from the crowd. Got to love fluro!
\r\n
\r\n
Nearer the end of the day the drivers were running tandems. Here we have Eddie leading with Nico hot on his tail.
\r\n
\r\n
An ’86 going sideways, priceless!
\r\n
\r\n
So I leave you all with this shot here. Cable ties, cable ties, cable ties and you guessed it, more cable ties!
