FRESHLY FEATURED – JTUNE MARK’S AMUSE GT1 S2000
A long long time ago in a far far away part of Auckland, we shot an S2000. The car’s been locked to magazines for a while, but we can now release our footage.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAs you can see, the car is probably the only S2000 in the country with the Amuse GT1 kit. The kit covers pretty much every panel of the car, with amazing flares for aerodynamics.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nYes those are exhaust pipes. Full iridium exhaust too.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe car’s a true example of a worked car. Nothing is left to do. Volk SE37’s on the front with Volk CE28N wheels on the rear. The front brake callipers have also been changed for a set of Spoon ones. Nothing left.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe engine’s no different – everything’s changed.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAs you can see, a painted rocker cover is the least of the modifitcations done under the hood. A Toda stroke kit has been added to pump the car out to 2.2L’s rather than the original 2L’s. Full specifications list below.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nLooking at a car like this, it’s hard not to see the awesome-ness of it all. The car’s flawless. Heaps of work has been put into this car from the guys over at JTune. It still lacks a full on tune to get it up to it’s full potential.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nLooking at the interior of the S2000 we see 2x Bride Low Max’s on Bride rails. Takata 4 Point Harnesses help to lock you in.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe dash has full Defi gauges with a Defi connection point for a laptop and a Nardi steering wheel finishes it off.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPopping the boot open we see a set of Nos bottles ready to give the engine some extra power. The individual wet direct port system allows for a full on Nos experience.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nGetting a ride in this car was nuts. The car’s roll cage gave me some trouble, as I’m not as small as the owner.. Once we were going, I didn’t want to get out to shoot it. I’d happily cruise around all day.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis car is the sort of car that many look up to when building. It’s built using all of the best parts, with no cheap gear in sight.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIf you see this car at a meet, just stand and observe it’s amazing-ness.
