FRESHLY WHIPPED EXCLUSIVE – MARK’S MAZDA B2200

One lazy Sunday afternoon the boys got together and decided we would do a feature on Mark’s Country Boy, come City Slicker Ute. His Mazda B2200 has come along way from when he first took ownership of it from a Farmer who had used it as his work vehicle.

Fresh paint, wheels, tints and tray. Mark has spent some serious and time and money getting his ute to where he wants it to be.

Mark’s flat deck ute has quiet a different stance to most. An interesting and original change.

I was with Mark when he bought this ute back in it’s Farm Boy days and can tell you that these Lenso rims are a big improvement from the stock wheels.

The interior has been updated a little too. Mark designed the new seat covers and door panels which work in really well with the rest of the Ute.

The Lenso rims are wrapped in slightly stretched tyres. That along with the 2 inch lowering of the Ute give it a nice flush look.

The Lensos also sit perfectly under the rear guards and contribute the overall eye catching appearance.

Out with the old wooden deck and in with some modern looking tred plate in it’s place. This was one of the major updates that gave it more of a street vehicle look.

The matte black grill contrasts nicely with the gloss red body which was re-painted only recently.

For the record I better include this shot. Chris spent ages trying to get that perfect moody shot with the afternoon sun setting. This is the result.

Driving Off

As the afternoon turned into evening we decided to call it a day and head home.

To really get an idea of the transformation check out this photo taken not long after Mark bought it.

Cheers Mark for sharing your Ute with us. She is surely one of a kind and something to be proud of. Look out for Mark and his Ute this coming Sunday at Wheels of Fortune being held at Pukekohe Park Raceway.
